Let’s get a few together to go down and support those already there in the 247 protest. We will drive down with a couple of breaks but no overnight stops. Aiming to reach parliament lawns to join the 24 7 guys at midnight. Free parking at parliament house until about 8am the next day. You will also be able to join the May 14 rally.
This rally is vital as to keep the pressure on the government so people realise that they absolutely need to use their vote at the upcoming election May 21. We need to demonstrate to all there are more then they realise that want change see video by Steve below
We know there are a lot of people who want to help and whose heart is in Canberra. Supporters Please don’t bring donations, we don’t have room to take more then people their luggage and outdoor overnight protest gear.
Instead Coles grocery cards would be great as we plan to make soups and curries for those the lawn on the lawn . As well we are looking into out door gas operated heaters ( small camping ones) to bring relief to those out in the cold in the chilly early hours of Canberra mornings.
